StarChefs is a leading resource for the hospitality industry, know for its quarterly trade magazine, hosting community building events, and their James Beard Award-nominated website.
Hosted annually by StarChefs, the International Chefs Congress was a three-day, industry-only event that brought together leading chefs, beverage professionals, and purveyors from around the world. Designed as a working symposium, the Congress served as a platform for sharing new techniques, dissecting emerging trends, and tackling the evolving challenges of the restaurant industry.
With over 1,800 attendees, 150+ presenters, and 50+ exhibitors, the event offered a dynamic blend of formats: MainStage demos where chefs showed off new concepts, hands-on workshops for skill-building, a bustling B2B trade show, and live competitions for talent to show off their craft.
The exchange didn’t stop at the expo floor. Evening events extended the conversation, offering chefs and attendees more time to connect and celebrate.
Though the Congress did not return post-pandemic, it remains a lasting blueprint for what’s possible when craft, community, and curiosity converge in one space.
