ABOUT
I joined the Wichita Festivals team in 2015 as a seasonal Marketing Associate ahead of Riverfest, Kansas' largest community event.
Taking over the greater downtown Wichita footprint, the community festival welcomes 360,000+ community members annually for nine days of concerts, family fun, river events, and more.
MARKETING
I composed press releases, drafted stage scripts for four entertainment stages, and took over the Facebook page for one of the festival's largest events, Gospelfest, boosting engagement through strategic posts and increasing the page's engagement by 50% over a 1 month period.
On site, I managed multiple talent Meet-and-Greets for attendees, coordinating with stage managers + security teams.
PRODUCTION
I returned to the Riverfest team in 2018 as a production coordinator. Supporting the on site execution of the event, I coordinated set-up + execution for VIP hospitality events, acted as a runner for music performances coordinating talent pick-up & drop offs, and served as the client point of contact for the trade show portion of the festivals annual 10K race.
