NYFW: THE SHOWS
January 2016 - February 2019
IMG’s Fashion Events department hired me as a member of their production team in January 2016.
The team produces NYFW: The Shows, NYC’s official Fashion Week events, building out, staffing and operating multiple runway venues where designers host their shows each season.
For 2 seasons, I served as producer of the ancillary event NYFW: First Stage, which provided a runway space for emerging designers. I oversaw all production elements from venue selection through to execution, including permitting, staffing and budget management.
Following NYFW: First Stage, I held full responsibility for producing 1 of the 3 official NYFW venues. In addition to venue research, I also managed floor plan development, operations logistics, permitting, production schedules and signage.
I held full budget responsibility from projection to reconciliation, including RFPing vendors, negotiating quotes and invoice fulfilment, closing my event at a minimum of 7% under budget for 4 seasons.
I developed staffing plans and oversaw an on site team of 35+ that managed security, scenic, audio, lighting, client relations, warehouse, production offices, PAs, BOH/FOH management and more.
When I first joined IMG, I held responsibility for managing all vendor contracts, COIs, crew credentials, reconciling the $11+ Mil overall NYFW budget.
I also managed NYFW’s Venue Production Assistant program throughout my time on the team, overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling and on-site management of 120+ seasonal Production Assistants.
